Guys this is my first article pls don't roast me What's this? Images from CoroCoro have been leaked, and they sure are revealing! If you wish not to see this, I've put it into spoilers for your safety. Spoiler The first image, which can be viewed here, shows us all about Zygarde's forms. The green blob Pokémon leaked last month is actually revealed to be a form called Zygarde Core, and it is the brain of all the forms Zygarde has. Then there is a flat form, which looks similar to the blob one but is flat, and is known as Zygarde Cell. Next we have a dog-like form, known as Zygarde 10%. It has sharp fangs and speed, according to the translation. The Zygarde we've all come to know is actually not it's final form, being renamed as Zygarde 50%. The final form of Zygarde is known as Zygarde Perfect. This form has the most information attached to it, revealing the following details: -It's species is the System Pokémon -It's 4.5m/14.7" tall -It's 610kg/1344.8lbs in weight -It keeps it's Dragon/Ground typing, suggesting that the other forms may have different types -It is said to exceed both Xerneas and Yveltal in power EDIT: The links below can take you to official art of Zygarde's new forms. Zygarde Cell | Zygarde Core | Zygarde 10% | Zygarde Perfect The second image, which can be viewed here, is a zoomed in point on the image above. It details what the next season of the anime will go by, Pokémon XY & Z, and shows a new Greninja form. It doesn't say whether it's a form or a Mega Evolution, bu the magazine does comment on how it looks similar to the clothing of the show's protagonist, Ash Ketchum. EDIT: Sorry, I misread the article. It doesn't say anything about this being a new form of Greninja, it just says it's "Ash's Greninja", meaning that Ash's current Frogadier will evolve, and it'll look like... Ash? If any new information is found, it will be added above. With this new information, along with the announcement of Pokémon Go, what do you think GameFreak will have in store for us in 2016?
Zygarde my baby hexagon snake finally they will respect you. T.T I need a moment... But seriously, this looks awesome for Zygarde. These forms seem pretty darn interesting and rather unique for legendary forms. I can't wait to see more about them! Greninja. Eh. I'm guessing it's some odd thing in the anime, seeing as it's not different enough from regular greninja to be a mega (which would be terrible). Overall, that's not what captured my interest here at all. Pokémon Z hyyyypppeeeee
We DBZ now. But jokes aside, im really hyped for these new forms. Zygarde always seemed so...incomplete to me.
Looks like Zygarde's getting a treatment that's a mix between your child Giratina and Kyurem, since it's "only form" was revealed not to be it's final one, but the Perfect Form does seem to incorporate Xerneas and Yveltal somehow, what with all those blue and red markings... To be honest, I'm surprised it took GameFreak this long to "tell" us about this, since Zygarde's incompleteness was inevitably going to change, just like Giratina and Kyurem did. But I agree with you, Zygarde (or should we be calling it Zygarde 50% now?) was, and still is, incomplete. And I'm moving my "discovery" down here because I felt it doesn't need to go in the main article but I didn't want to get rid of it. Note that this isn't important, it's just something else I found so I'll put it into spoilers too, since it isn't really on topic~ Spoiler According to this image, we can see an Eevee, a Noivern, obviously Ash-Greninja, and a Mega Sceptile, all of these Pokémon (apart from the Zygardes) being unowned by any anime trainers so far. This seems to imply that Ash's Frogadier and Noibat will evolve into Ash-Greninja and Noivern respectively, and Serena (or Bonnie?) will obtain an Eevee. Which just leaves Mega Sceptile, who's appearance in this image is odd since it was already featured in Mega Evolution Act II, which leads me to believe that Ash's Sceptile will return to the team, much like his Charizard did in the Decolore Islands arc of the BW series, which both fills his sixth team slot and gives him a Pokémon who can Mega Evolve. Remember that everything you just read in this spoiler is pure speculation, but it's nice to guess~
Oooh!! These look very interesting! OoO And both of these images might have something to do with either a movie or new season (Guessing more of a movie though ewe')
Well you're half correct there, senpai. Although the Mega Evolution Acts are kinda like movies, they're just special episodes, and the image is acutaly announcing the next season, which'll be called XY & Z, as opposed to XY Kalos Quest, the current season.
I find that Zygarde's multi forms are interesting now, not to mention that Zygarde even has a Complete Form. I'm wondering if that was because it was having a fusion of Xerneas and Yveltal, or copied their attributes instead, since it's said to be stronger than both of them. Speaking of Ash's Greninja, I think it may more resemble of Ash's style than just the clothing and all, I think it somewhat resembles Ash's hairstyle as well. In any rate, I'll looking forward for Pokémon Z and the latest Pokémon anime as well!
New Greninja? You opportunist Aura This looks amazing! Keep it up! I do think this'll be exiting so I'd better catch up on all of the Anime now Personally, I reckon the Eevee will be clemont's because he is someone who is very into science and he might study the Eevee and have a bit more of a comic relationship with it. Keep it up aura! EDIT: IT SAYS XY & Z AT THE BOTTOM HOLY CRAAAAAAP - but seriously, I didn't know if this fact wasn't that important or it was easily overlooked or I'm not just paying attention This finally confirms it though I think
OMFG! So the guesses were right, that silhouette was a Zygarde form! Wow! These all look really cool, now I'm definitely set for a Pokémon Z, please be real! Zygarde looks really cool, all of them except Zygarde Cell, that's kind of a disappointment. Greninja, my favourite Pokémon! If this is available in the games I will be so happy but it probably won't, it'll probably be some event. I'm making up so many things, I'm getting carried away. I can already imagine the box art, Zygarde perfect at the front and the other forms behind it. If I made the game, I'd make the game have one starter Pokémon, that is Zygarde Cell, and let it evolve and at the end you have Zygarde perfect! Wow! Thank you @[member="AuraKnight"] for making me go crazy! (Seriously, thank you!)
Yeah, I've been looking on other social media about this, and most people said it'd be kinda like Cosplay Pikachu, but with Greninja. The others said it'd be Mega Greninja, which I know highly doubt. I never thought that Eevee would be Clemont's, since it was hanging with Serena's Pokémon I just thought it'd be hers, but I put Bonnie there too because meh. But yeah, it could be Clemont's. But which Eeveelution would they choose? What am I saying, Clemont would have Jolteon no questions asked. That's actually an awesome idea for a game. Although it'd be a bit weird to start with a Pokémon who would eventually become a Legendary... but I've used Legendaries in playthroughs from low-level starting points (the Manaphy Egg from Pokémon Ranger in Platinum and the Lv. 15 Event Keldeo in Black/White 2), and it's not as easy as it looks. Someone, get this man a phone, and put Masuda on the line! And thanks to [member='Bionic Puppy'] and [member='Thunder'] for your praise, getting good words for my work makes me happy and motivated to write more and better articles in the future which is now, thanks to science!
Oh and I was just thinking, what if this is a lead to a new eeveelution? I mean, it's a special episode/movie, maybe Clemont and his scientific genius will discover a new form of Eevee, this is actually pretty unlikely since XY introduced Sylveon but maybe, because of Zygarde, there'll be a new evolution, perhaps a ground one, or maybe a dragon one. This is unlikely but it could happen, on second thought probably not lol.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO GIVE THIS GUY A PHONE TO MASUDA!! Although you're right, the chances are highly improbable, but we can still fangirl hope, right?
I like Zygarde 50 the best still, luv that snake. But I'm glad it's finally getting a spotlight! What if Zygarde 50 absorbs Xerneas and Yvetal and that's how it becomes perfect??
That's a nice idea, if you think about it good be a fusion, Perfect's arms have red and blue on it and the gap on it's stomach in blue, slightly darker blue, white, orange then red, this is basically the colours of yveltal/zerneas getting darker. This is a good theory and I think it'd make a nice story but in the end it's all just speculation.
....So many DBZ jokes can be made based on this news, haha. Buuuut damnnn, awesome stuff. Can we safely say that Z is all but confirmed now? In which case I'mma instantly preordering that shiz and any other Zygarde goodies I can find. #zygardeforbest6thgenmon Side note though: Should we be a bit worried about this trend of 'this isn't even my final form' dragon trio master legendaries introduced since 3rd gen (counted Rayquaza since hello tier to itself Mega form despite being introduced penultimately.
So I'll just have to re-post my latest status with the suggestion that this "Zygarde Perfect" looks kinda like a Gundam. Say hello to Zygundam, everybody. Zygarde was my favorite of the mascots by a narrow margin ever since I the whole trio, so it's nice that he's getting some love now. However, his serpentine form or 50% or whatever is still my favorite. Brain and Cell are cute and all, but I generally like the tougher-looking sorts. Puppy seems kind of ill-fit*, and Zygundam looks, well, like a Gundam, not a Pokémon. Like they hired a new creature-designer that's more familiar with Digimon and Gundam than Pokémon. *Actually, Zypuppy is growing on me the more I look at it, and now I kind of want to a Doberman and teach him to like wearing a green scarf, or at least buy him a vivid green collar. As far as Greninja goes, it really doesn't matter to me at all since I don't watch the anime, but it would be cool (although nigh-impossible) to have customizable Pokémon in the game reflect a customization of your player character. It'll probably never happen though,
About damn time they release this info. With the timing, it seems like we'll be getting the sequel(s) in July, much like B2/W2, which I'm fine with. I'll be playing the new Mystery Dungeon game to keep me occupied. Now, onto the Zygarde forms; The Cell and Core forms leave me scratching my head to how they will be implemented into the game. Will Core and Cell be playable Pokémon? Too soon to say. Now, I do love the Dog, or 10%, form. It really plays off the lore of Yggdrasil. Of course, we all know about 50% form. What really made me cream myself was Perfect Form Zygarde (who I am totally nicknaming mine Cell in the new games). It looks like an absolute monster. I doubt it will have a BST of 1200, if Zygarde's 50% form is only 600. I can see the BST matching Mega Rayquaza and Mega Mewtwo X & Y at 780, focusing more on bulk. I wonder how Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves will fit in. Perhaps these will be what determines the forms? As for the Greninja, it's probably just an anime thing. I do see Greninja getting a mega, as well as the other starters, in the next game(s). I wouldn't be too mad if the Ash Greninja was the Mega, but, eh. We'll see what's going on there.
I want to state something i haven't seen much conversation about. Notice how in the art of Zygardes perfect form, it's chest/core is closed and only lines. but in the Mega evolution Poster, you can see the chest/core open. What do you guys think is the purpose of the Core? I'm wondering if it's just Zygardes way of attacking, or if there is more to it than just that.
I am less worried about it than I am sitting and scratching my head while I wonder how the hell they're gonna top this next gen. We've already introduced literally god in gen 4, now we have a five-form legend that will no doubt be worthy of the highest of ubers. And we're rapidly running out of natural forces for legendaries to govern, considering we already have a ton of overlaps. What next? A Pokémon that is literally the planet? Actually forget I asked they may actually do that and I can see it being cool EDIT: Oh hell now I'm actually thinking of how a planet Pokémon would work. Like what if all the regions are on its back? And that's why we've never seen a full map od the world? DANG IT BRAIN EDIT EDIT: WHAT IF MOUNT CORONET IS ITS NOSE OH GOD HELP EDIT EDIT EDIT: What if that's why there's nosepass in Mount Coronet. I am not okay
Damn. Something Unicron/Primus-esque would be amazing. If they introduce something like dna digivolving to create huuuuuge planet sized pokemons I would go nuts ! So, sooo cool.
